Daniel Friedberg is a cinematographer whose work spans feature films, television, and national commercials. He first gained industry recognition when honored at the 2017 ICG Emerging Cinematographer Awards for his work on the short film Lovebird—a moment that affirmed his voice as a visual storyteller. Since then, he has shot multiple feature films and television projects, collaborating with a wide range of directors across genres.
Daniel thrives in collaborative environments, always seeking to be a true partner to the director. His approach centers on uncovering the emotional core of each scene and translating it through light, movement, and composition—whether building a visual language from the ground up or refining a shared vision with a creative team.
Raised in New York, Daniel was surrounded by a rich mix of culture, art, and creative energy—an early influence that continues to shape his cinematic perspective. He brings a thoughtful, precise, and collaborative sensibility to every project.
